Hugo & Me Baby Clothes Review

The countdown to baby number three is on. In around 7 weeks (fingers crossed for no longer than that), our little girl will be making an appearance. So we’ve been stocking up!

The beautiful, ethical baby clothing company, Hugo & Me, sent me some gorgeous clothes to review. The shop specialises in selling organic, high-quality baby clothes. Their aim is to look after the planet, while giving your child the best.

If you love neutral tones on babies, you’ll adore shopping at Hugo & Me. It’s stocked up with muted tones and trendy patterns from some lovely small businesses – all under in one place on the web (and a bricks and mortar shop in Manchester.)

Hugo & Me have expanded since their inception, and have now branched out into ethical nursery furniture, decor and toys. Trust me – you need to check them out!

Hugo & Me Ethical Baby Clothes Review

I was told to select a few items from the site, ready for my little girl’s arrival. I went for a handful of mix and match items, all in colours that go well together. Here’s what I got:

Little Hedonist Bodysuit

Gorgeous organic cotton body suit for newborn upwards. I love my baby girl clothing haul from Hugo & Me
Bodysuit in Hazelnut

This bodysuit made by Little Hedonist is perfect for your little ones. Made with super soft organic cotton, the cross-over design allows you to dress baby without having to drag anything over their head. Very handy for when they’re in a wriggly mood and hard to dress!

Arrow Design EarthSoul Romper

Arrow EarthSoul Romper - this gorgeous unisex romper is a cute newborn baby outfit. Pair with a bodysuit, or leave it on its own in warmer weather #babyclothes #whatbabywore #newbornclothes

This unisex romper is actually more more grey than it appears in the picture. I think the pink background enhances some warmer tones. I love dressing babies in rompers, they look so soft and comfy for their brand new skin.

The best thing about neutral tones is that you can pair them together in endless combinations. This is the bodysuit and romper together, but in warmer weather I’d be happy to leave the romper with nothing underneath .

Moc & Me Leather Baby Moccasins

rose gold baby moccasins
These rose gold baby moccasins are adorable!

I can’t get enough of these rose gold baby moccasins! They’re soft and stretchy – perfect for tiny, chubby feet! They are available in a range of colours, but the rose gold really spoke to me. I’d buy some in my size if anywhere made them!

Polka Dot Romper

Beautiful baby girl's polka dot romper in salmon pink. I absolutely love everything in my baby girl clothes haul #babyclothes #babygirl #babyoutfit

This classy little number is made with really clever sizing – suitable for 0-6 months. It doesn’t have feet sewn in so as your newborn becomes a 6 month old, the romper will still fit. It’s a real score as a parent because babies grow out of their clothes so fast, meaning this is a really sustainable way of dressing them. It means their clothes last so much longer!

EarthSoul Leggings

Last but not least, I also got these gorgeous leggings. The colour and design is pretty neutral meaning they can be paired with anything and worn by any gender (I like to recycle baby clothes and event though this is baby number three, I can’t guarantee we won’t have one more)! The fabric is very soft and stretchy and will make for a lovely outfit when paired with the bodysuit above.

I absolutely love everything in my haul and the fact that it’s all from an ethical brand is a massive bonus.
