*AD – We were given a Portable North Pole Magic Pass for the purpose of this review

Christmas has always been a magical time, but if you’re looking to up the magical ante, then you definitely need the Portable North Pole app! PNP Santa is a jolly fellow who makes personalised videos for your excitable offspring.
My son is the the perfect age to enjoy personalised Santa videos to help build up the excitement for the big day.
Portable North Pole Review

I’m a big fan of the Portable North Pole, even before I received this pass. For the past couple of years I’ve been using the free version of the app – which is a little limited. To upgrade your pass, just follow the “upgrade your pass” link and purchase either a Magic Pass for £12.99 or the Ultimate Magic Pass for £34.99 (which is active for 10 years).
Currently, videos are only available in the paid area, but you can sign up to be alerted when the free messaging service is available.
We absolutely love our Magic Pass and I think buying a ten-year pass is a really good value for money. It’s impossible to do a Portable North Pole review without sharing a quick PNP Santa video, complete with my son’s reaction. It’s only short, you should watch all the way through, his face when he realises the video is just for him is adorable and entirely priceless!
What Can You Do With A Portable North Pole Magic Pass?
The thing about having a Portable North Pole Magic Pass is that it’s a bit like being real-life friends with Santa. You can arrange calls about behaviour, if the kids have done something good, and even a personalised birthdays message! Greg’s birthday is in the next few days, so we made him a personalised birthday video and it blew his mind!

In the children’s section, there is a part for Santa’s messages – which is for the videos you’ve made for your child to view. Once you’ve made the video in the parent’s section (which is passcode protected) you can choose whether or not they are sent to the children’s section.
The children’s section also contains an advent calendar, bedtime stories, taking elf, Santa’s voicemail, tree shaker and a memory game. This app is about so much more than than Santa videos – although the magic pass does have a very wide selection of personalised video and call options.
What is the PNP Santa Like?
The Portable North Pole Santa is fantastic. In fact, I’m certain he’s the real Santa – Greg is absolutely convinced too! When you input the details you can make sure Santa says names how you’d expect before confirming the video that your child will see. He looks and sounds the part and truly makes the app magical.
The Portable North Pole also like to give back
If you’re thinking about paying for one the premium passes, I highly recommend it. Not only will your little one get a kick out of personalised videos and all the other fun stuff on the app, the money you spend goes to a good cause too! The Portable North Pole has a children’s hospital program to help bring a little cheer to its patients. Whenever you make any purchases, a portion of the sale goes to a participating children’s hospital near you, helping to put a smile on the faces of those children who are spending Christmas away from home.
