*Cranky Cathy was sent to us for the purpose of this feature/AD

We were excited to welcome Cranky Cathy the witches cat into our home for Halloween. We even had a little ghoulish celebration to make her feel welcome by doing some spooky pumpkin carving!
Cranky Cathy brought a gift of a pumpkin carving kit. We got the hint and went straight in with carving some spooky-looking pumpkins.

Despite having bought some waterproof table cloths for activities such as these, I couldn’t find them so we had to make do with a putting some bubble wrap down to protect our carpet. Once the protection was down, we picked our designs.

Then we cut off the top and started to scrape out the innards before we started with the carving.
A witches cat needs a witch, and luckily we have a witch and vampire already living with us, so she fit right in! Once the pumpkins were complete, we took our Cranky Cathys outside so the witch and vampire could get acquainted with their new pets.

Cranky Cathy and the kids seemed to get along fine, both cats looks very sweet and maybe even a bit too cute to be witches cats. It turns out, just like the kids, Cranky Cathy has a feisty side!

At first we couldn’t believe it, and thought maybe the cats weren’t quite settling in, so we took them to the wall so they could see their new neighbourhood. We brought the pumpkins too, since the cats were very keen on us carving the pumpkins.

The cats and kids seemed to be getting along fine, and really liked being around our carved pumpkin designs.
But as soon as the kids backs were turned, the Cranky Cathys became feisty once again!

It looks like we’ll have to keep a close eye on those new cats of ours!
A Little Bit About Cranky Cathy
Cranky Cathy arrives in a cardboard cave that tells you a little bit about how to care for her, including her likes and dislikes. Apparently, some know her as “El Diablo”!
She looks all sweet and innocent, but don’t be fooled – she has a feisty side! The back of her head a gentle squeeze to watch her fierce personality (and her fangs) come out.
Crank Cathy is from the Feisty Pets range and is available from Amazon, Argos, Morrisons, Tesco, The Entertainer and Smyths Toys Superstore.
We’ve welcomed some interesting into our home before, you might also like to read about our other Feisty Pets.
