Locate your fuse box and water valve
This is important in case there’s a black out, or your fuses trip out. Knowing where the water valve is essential for things like making adjustments to the sink or shower or you need to shut off the water supply.
Childproof your new home
Moving into your new home is exciting for everyone and if you have toddlers or young children around then their excitement will probably be in overdrive! Start by making their bedroom safe and secure, fit the stair gates, cover sockets and make sure any blind chords from any window dressings that have been left behind are removed. Once your child has a safe space to play, you can get on with all the other jobs you need to do!
