Preparing for Autumn

I know, I know, I should be enjoying the summer while we’re getting some, but as someone who makes things with yarn, summer is not a popular time for me.

So I look forward to Autumn, when the world looks pretty but the weather isn’t sweltering (I can’t cope with heat, I’m one of those people).

So here’s what I’ve been working on, a few designs that I’ll be adding to my shop when the temperature drops:

I love mittens and I love self-patterning yarn. Great combo!
Crochet Fox Slippers
These little cuties are available in adult size, so get your orders in!

Owl Blanket
This is a commission for a full sized bespoke baby blanket, for a little man due in September. Contact me via Facebook for enquiries.

And a couple of baby items that are suitable all year round:

crochet water melon
Who doesn’t love watermelon?

These are just a few things to look forward to, for all enquiries email me at or contact me on Facebook. I’d love to hear from you!

  1. The hat and little boots are lovely. We loved knitted clothes when Effy was a newborn. She’s the only girl on my side of the family so the fmaily ‘knitters’ went a bit crazy with pink things #bigpinklink

    1. Thank you! I love little hand made baby stuff, I had my little girl well before I could do anything like this and I’m a bit gutted really, I think I need a new on so I can dress them in entirely woolly stuff! x

  2. I have to admit I am totally ready for Autumn too now, I love cosy clothes and woolly hats so Autumn and Winter are right up my street. I am dying over those fox booties and you’re absolutely right, who doesn’t love a watermelon? Thank you for linking to #bigpinklink x
