As this blog approaches a year of regular posting habits, I feel ready to branch out into more specific areas. Don’t worry, this blog isn’t going to get all serious on you (and I’m not going to shut it down either) but I have started a second website.
As some of you may know, I’m studying business and accounting at uni and because of that, I find myself becoming more and more interested in finance. It makes sense really; I follow business news, I’m a stay at home mum so I’m constantly searching for ways to save money and I run this blog as business so I’m always looking at ways to increase the family income too.
I’m very aware that some of my posts are, well, a bit silly and because of this, I don’t think I’ll seem particularly credible when I’m giving out money advice (however great it is) so I decided to start this new money blog. I’d love it if you’d take a look (don’t be too harsh, it’s less than a week old) it’s called Mummy Saver, Money Maker and has an accompanying Twitter and Facebook page, you can even follow them if you like!
I’ve also signed up to a great website called Latest Deals where people are able to share the bargains they’ve seen. I’ve spotted a few from my normal browsing habits and uploaded them, but there’s loads on there shared by far more hardcore bargain hunters than me.
If you do sign up (and it’s worth doing so) you can even follow me and your other favourite money saving experts to see all the best deals as they get uploaded. I’m so glad I found it in the run up to Christmas (and I’m so glad they let me be involved with sharing the bargains I’ve found along the way.
I’d love it if you could share your top tips for bargain hunting in the comments!
