I’ve been pretty lax on sharing the contents of my beauty boxes this summer. It’s been a busy one for me but the blog is back to its old self for the autumn.
I’m pretty certain you’ve come for a look inside, so here’s September’s offerings:
Cetaphil Mini Skincare Routine
I’ve recently written about my love for skin routines (I even have a giveaway on right now!). So it’s pretty exciting to get a new one to try out. This one bu Cetaphil looks pretty healthy for sensitive skin.
The cleanser in this trio has been used in fashion for years, removing model’s makeup and taking care of sensitive skin. It’s really important to remove your makeup properly before bed and if this is good enough the high-fashion models, then it’s good enough for me! It also includes moisturiser for the face and another one for the body. I was pleased to pamper myself with it the other night.
Taylor’s 32 Grapefruit & Mint Whitening Toothpaste
I can’t tell whether I like this or not. I’ve been using it every day and the initial taste is amazing, then it just goes a bit too minty. My teeth feel particularly clean after I’ve finished though so it’s probably doing a super whitening job.
MONU Firming Fiji Facial Oil
I find facial oil particularly good for after some super exfoliating. I normally like a thick moisturiser for evening an something mattifying for the day so I don’t use oil often. I like that this oil is firming because I dread the advent of wrinkles. This oil feels nice and smells good.
Pixi by Petra Brown Tamer
Brow products seem to be seeking me out at the moment. I’ve just acquired an eyebrow gel and posh new brush, but I’m always on the look out for a miracle product. I’m currently trying to grow my eyebrows into a great natural shape so minimal styling is needed. I think this clear gel will be better saved for when my eyebrows are more full and less in need of being drawn on.
Stylondon Siligel Blender (Clear)
Silicon Blenders are a bit of a mystery to me. Everyone goes wild for them but I’m not convinced. Yes, they absorb less, but I don’t see much difference to using my fingers. In fact, they often boast a ‘real finger feel’ but my real fingers can also boast that feel.
When I have nail extensions I do find finger smudging hard, so I imagine this type of blender will benefit those with longer talons better. I do quite like it though, even if I only half get it.
No explanation needed, surely? Enjoy with a cuppa. I’m saving mine for a stressful day.
