It’s been a little while since I had time to share the contents of my Glossybox with you lovely lot, but since it’s my 1 year Glossyversary, it seemed like the right time to revive an old favourite.
I love getting a surprise box of luxury through the post each month, and this month Glossybox are offering you the May box for just £5 (+P&P) just use code GB50 (clicking the code will take you there).
Now let’s see what I’ve got:
Exfoliating Body Scrubber
Summer is rapidly bounding into view and it’s time to shed your winter skin. I’m not going to pretend I exfoliate as much in the colder months, I don’t because I don’t have to. Nobody sees my skin – I’m all cardigans and tights when it’s cold. This scrubby exfoliator isn’t too rough, it feels fine and gentle but does a diamond job. Love it.
Charcoal is known for absorbing impurities and leaving you with soft, bright skin. Team this with your scrubber to shed your winter skin and emerge as a dazzling summer butterfly! Be warned, it’s bit muddy looking and you’ll need to give your bath an extra good rinse when it’s drained.
Powder Blush in Coral
I’m the palest person every and in the winter my skin edges towards a milky grey. When the sunnier seasons come around I tend to get a peachy glow. Nothing says ‘summer face’ more than coral and peach hues. I usually use blush creams and tints but this powder loosely dusted over the apples of my cheeks gives me a laid back glow for the brighter weather.
Caudalie Moisturising Sorbet
I already had some of this, so it isn’t a new addition to my make-up bag, but it is a perfect size for my handbag. I love the zesty fragrance and the light, almost water-like texture of the sorbet makes application a dream.
Dr PAWPAW Original Balm
This balm is a bit of all-rounder. You can apply it all over, it’s suitable for all skin types and even smooths your hair! It’s thicker and oilier in texture, I use it on my face and hands before bed (but after a hot bath) for it to sink in over night.
