BEA Skin Care AHA Rejuvenating Wands – An Honest Review

I was recently gifted some BEA Skin Care AHA Rejuvenating Wands to try out before my wedding. I’ve been really hammering my skincare game because I want to look 21 on my wedding day (which is now less than a month away)!

The BEA Skin Care AHA Rejuvenating Wands are an easy way of applying an at-home acid peel treatment. They come as single use swabs that you apply directly to your clean face. They are designed to improve a range of skin conditions that are associated with ageing, such as pigmentation, enlarged pores, fine lines and wrinkles. They can even improve acne too!

Since I’m no longer a 20 something clear-skinned-goddess (was I ever?) now is the perfect time for me to start using them. They arrived in a pack of ten and can be used twice per week, which will take me right up to the wedding.

For reference, this is what my skin looked like pre-AHA rejuvenating wand:

Before the AHA rejuvenating wand was used, no makeup on , visible large pores, visible fine lines.

You can probably see the enlarged pores on my T-Zone and the fine lines around my eye area.

I cleansed my face then followed the instructions and applied the swab directly to my face. You’re meant to miss the sensitive eye area, but I got close and applied to the bit just above my cheekbone, right near my eye.

Me using the AHA rejuvenating wand, applying swab directly to my cheek.

When applying the product, start from the middle of your face and sweep outwards. Also try to avoid any areas of broken skin.

The product is meant to be left to sink in for 10 minutes, which I was able to do comfortably. I’ve used acid exfoliators in the past that tingle or sting, the BEA Skin Care AHA Rejuvenating Wand does neither.

I washed it off with warm water then hopped in the shower. I would recommend that if you plan on doing this too, that you avoid letting the shower get too hot. In my experience, when your skin has had any treatments, you should wait 24hrs before using any heat near it.

My skin felt lovely and smooth once I had dried it. In fact, it felt similar to when I’ve been for a facial. The skin looked brighter and my large pores looked visible smaller (they almost disappeared completely!).

This is my face after using the BEA Skin Care AHA Rejuvenating Wand (please ignore my gigantic, unstyled hair):

I think my skin has definitely improved!

The instructions recommend for best results to follow with BEA Skin Care’s Vitamin C & Hyaluronic Acid Serum, but since I had none, I used a facial oil.

When I woke up the next day, my skin was still super smooth and I’m really pleased with the results. I’ll definitely be doing this twice a week from now on!
